| The undergraduate stage is a critical period for normal students to grow up.Their academic achievements depend to a great extent on the education they receive in the undergraduate stage and their own efforts.The academic performance are mainly reflected by academic achievements.Universities attach great importance to students’ academic performance in all aspects of evaluation,scholarship evaluation,studying abroad,postgraduate entrance examination,employment,etc.Therefore,academic performance is an important indicator to judge the academic achievements level of college students in school.Relevant data show that college students’ academic performance is affected by many factors.This paper studies the influence of college entrance examination results on college academic performance.As we all know,college entrance examination results are an important indicator to measure students’ academic achievements in high school.Therefore,the selection of talents in colleges has been based on college entrance examination results over the years.Under the current college entrance examination mode,the degree of influence over students’ college entrance examination results on their academic performance is an important basis for testing the reliability and validity of the college entrance examination.This study collects and sorts out the college entrance examination results of physics(normal)major students of two consecutive grades in a local normal university and their academic performance in university.The statistical software SPSS is applied to analyze the correlation between their college entrance examination results and their academic performance,and the multiple linear regression analysis is further conducted to study the factors affecting their academic performance.The following conclusions were drawn.(1)The correlation between the college entrance examination results and the college academic results of the students of this major is not significant and weak,which indicates that the college entrance examination results have little influence on the college academic results.There is a weak positive correlation between the total scores of the college entrance examination and the scores of compulsory courses in university.In addition,it can be seen that the correlation between the total scores of the college entrance examination and the results of compulsory courses in university is gradually weakening with the increase of the academic year.(2)The results of the correlation analysis between the scores of each single subject in the college entrance examination and the academic achievements of the university are as follows:Among the scores of single subject in the college entrance examination,math scores of the students in this major are weakly positively correlated with the total academic scores in university,and moderately positively correlated with the scores of required courses.There is a weak positive correlation between college entrance examination physics scores and required course scores.There is a weak positive correlation between foreign language scores of the college entrance examination and scores of public compulsory courses.In addition,it can be concluded that the above correlation degree decreases with the increase of academic year.The results of Chinese,chemistry and biology in college entrance examination have little influence on the academic performance.According to the above research conclusions,This paper puts forward some educational countermeasures from three aspects of college enrollment,physics(normal)professional education and physics normal students’ learning,so as to provide reference for improving the quality of physics(normal)professional personnel training.For college enrollment,we should make enrollment plan reasonably,adjust the specialty specialty setting appropriately;reform the way of enrollment.For physics(normal)professional education,educators should pay more attention to students with excellent and poor results in the college entrance examination;strengthen the connection teaching between senior high school physics and college physics;pay attention to the teaching of professional basic courses;guiding students’ learning with the essential characteristics of the curriculum;pay attention to the cultivation of students’ learning strategies in universities;strengthen the guidance to students’ study in the middle and later stages of university;help students to establish positive attribution style.For normal physics students,they should pay attention to the study of mathematics;make a good study plan and career plan;pay attention to the accumulation of learning methods and learning strategies. |
