The spreading of rumors may result in panic, causing or aggravating social unrest, which has a negative impact on the development and stability of the society and human activities. It is of profound practical significance to study rumor spreading, analyzing the internal mechanism and law of rumor spreading, and to seek various internal and external factors that affect rumor spreading. In this paper, the familiar mechanism and government intervention are two factors that exert influence on the effect of rumor communication. Two rumor communication models are established, and are analyzed and discussed respectively.First of all, previous studies have shown that in the process of rumor communication, the familiarity between individuals has a certain impact on rumor communication. This article studies the individual's familiarity with the content of the communication and the impact on the spread of rumors.Considering the familiarity of individuals with the content of the communication, this paper constructs a rumor communication model, calculating the equilibrium point of the model. The stability of the equilibrium point is discussed through the basic reproduction number,Lyapunov function,Hurwitz criterion and La Salle invariance principle. The results of numerical simulation are consistent with the theoretical analysis. At the same time, the influence of different parameters in the model on the propagation is discussed. The results show that these measures are beneficial to the controlling and reducing of the spread of rumors, such as reducing the proportion of the unfamiliar susceptible to change into the communicator, increasing the proportion of the unfamiliar susceptible to change into the restorer, reducing the proportion of the familiar susceptible to change into the communicator, and increasing the proportion of the communicator to change into the restorer.Secondly,in previous studies, the influence of government intervention has been considered, which will affect the process of communication by influencing the value of some parameters in the model.Under such circumstances, the impact of government intervention can be relatively indirect. So,if government intervention is introduced into the communication model as a single variable,it is also a useful attempt to analyze the direct impact of government intervention on the communication process.Based on such an assumption, this paper establishes a rumor propagation model considering government intervention.Assuming that the government intervenes in this variable in the model, its increasing speed is proportional to the number of communicators, and it will automatically decline with the increase of time. The equilibrium point of the model is calculated, and the stability of the equilibrium point is discussed through the basic reproduction number,Lyapunov function,Hurwitz criterion, and La Salle invariance principle. The results of numerical simulation are consistent with those of theoretical analysis. The influence of different parameters in the model on the rumor spreading process is discussed. The results show that by reducing the proportion of the susceptible to be transformed into the communicators, increasing the proportion of the susceptible to be transformed into the restorers, and increasing the proportion of the communicators to be transformed into the restorers. These measures are conducive to control and reduce the spread of rumors. This paper analyzes the rumor communication problems which are affected by the familiar mechanism and the government intervention, and obtains some conclusions, which can provide some reference for the relevant departments to deal with the rumor communication problems.
