| With the rapid development of mobile communications and broadband wireless access technologies and the growing business needs of users themselves, heterogeneous integration of communication networks has become its inevitable development trend in the future. As an important aspect of heterogeneous wireless network resource management, network selection aims to provide users with the best network access services to meet the needs of their different business types. In the selection of heterogeneous wireless networks, different algorithms make the final network choice based on the user’s subjective preferences for the network and the performance of the network itself. This paper proposed and simulated two network selection algorithms aiming at the one-sidedness of traditional multi-attribute algorithm weight determination and the deficiency in selection gain and algorithm identification.Multi-attribute decision theory has a wide range of applications in heterogenous network selection,a network selection algorithm based on ideal gray projection is proposed. The algorithm uses AHP to construct an AHP model, determine the subjective weights of network attributes, use the entropy weight method to determine its objective weights, and then determine its comprehensive weights by a simple weighting method.Construct an ideal gray-scale weighting matrix, treat each candidate network as a vector, determine its gray vector projection coefficient value, use the gray vector projection coefficient value as the evaluation criterion of the candidate network, sort according to its size, and select the gray vector. The candidate network with the largest projection coefficient value is accessed as the target network. This algorithm not only considers the user’s subjective preference needs, but also takes into account the objective performance of the network.Through simulation comparison with the traditional algorithms, the results show that the ideal gray projection algorithm is feasible and effective in network selection. And the algorithm is better than the traditional algorithms. In a heterogeneous wireless network scenario, this paper proposes a network selection algorithm based on weight utility value. The algorithm first determines the utility function and obtains the utility value according to the characteristics of each network attribute, and determines the subjective weight and objective weight of the network attribute through AHP and CRITIC method. In addition,in order to achieve the unity of subjective and objective and avoid the one-sidedness caused by the single characteristic weight,we construct a least squares comprehensive decision optimization model, calculate its comprehensive weight, and then determine the weight utility value. Finally, the weight utility value of each candidate network is sorted, and the one with the largest weight utility value is the best access network. The simulation results show that the algorithm can improve the performance of the network.Compared with the traditional algorithm is more recognizable and has a better algorithm selection gain. |
