With the advancement of society, the widespread using of the Internet, and the rapidly development of the economy, the logistics industry is becoming more and more fierce in the Chinese market. How to stand out in this fierce competition is a problem that all major enterprises must consider. As an efficient logistics distribution strategy,cross-docking has been increasingly applied in recent years. For example, foreign industry leaders such as Wal-Mart and Toyota have achieved great success in cross-docking application and gained huge profits.Compared with the traditional distribution center model,cross-docking has great advantages. It can not only reduce the inventory cost of goods in the supply chain, but also directly sort and reload the goods in the trans-shipment operation to reduce secondly damage.Cross-docking can help reduce product turnover cycle, reduce transportation costs, and effectively increase the speed of commodity circulation. As we all know, fresh products have the characteristics of perishable and deteriorating,so they are not easy to preserve and have a short life cycle.Multiple handling and long-term storage will accelerate the deterioration and rot,and reduce their quality. In recent years, the improvement of living standards has made people pay more attention to the quality of goods, especially for fresh agricultural products, which are difficult to transport. Therefore,if the cross-docking strategy can be applied successfully,it will have a great impact on the logistics distribution of fresh agricultural products by reducing unnecessary losses and making it more efficient.Based on the above situation, this paper proposes the vehicle routing problem of fresh agricultural products with a cross-docking center.Apply the cross-docking strategy to the logistics distribution of fresh agricultural products in the case where the time window of customer orders and the corruption rate of fresh agricultural products are given. To solve the scheduling issues and vehicle routing issues simultaneously, build the model of vehicle routing problem of fresh agricultural products with a crossdocking center to minimize the total cost including the cross-docking operation cost, inventory cost, transportation cost and corruption cost. The genetic algorithm and particle swarm algorithm are designed to solve the model. Then compare the results of the two algorithms under different scale data. Finally, the model and algorithms are verified by the design and analysis of an example, which has great significance for practical application.
