In this paper,Atmosphere core of new generation model named the Model for Prediction Across Scales(MPAS)is used to study the effects of three cumulus convective parameterization of New Tiedtke scheme,Grell-Freitas scheme, and KianFritsch scheme on No.9 Typhoon “Lekima” in 2019,which is mainly carried out from typhoon track and typhoon precipitation.Typhoon “Lekima” moved northwest during the development process on sea and changed its path to the north direction before landing. Then it moved north along the east coast of China and through the Yellow Sea.After which it secondly landed on the Shandong Peninsula and moved counterclockwise and finally dissipated in the Bohai Sea.Any of these three cumulus convective parameterizations can capture the path of Typhoon “Lekima”.The best effect is KF_W,with an average error of 74.02 km,followed by GF_W,with an average error of 81.63 km,Again NT_W,with an average error of 83.02 km.This paper analyzes the 500 hPa isobaric line, wind field and the change of subtropical high pressure with time, and gives a part of reasons causing Typhoon “Lekima” turning to north before landing and moving counterclockwise in the Shandong Peninsula. In terms of typhoon landing precipitation, two periods were selected from 00:00 to 12:00 on August 10 and 11.We give the 12-hour cumulative precipitation results in these two periods and diagnose separately from physical perspective and model perspective. The physical part mainly analyzes the water vapor conditions required for the formation of precipitation and gives the available atmospheric precipitation in the whole layers,850 hPa water vapor flux, and relative vorticity with zonal wind on 850 hPa.The model part focuses on the analysis of convection available potential energy in the closed assumption. At last,we combined the above results to give analysis based on three cumulus convective parameterization schemes, and New Tiedtke schemes is the best in precipitation.
