Previous earthquakes have demonstrate that sand liquefaction is one of phenomenon of earthquake disaster,and is one of the main causes of foundation failure and engineering structure damage.Sand liquefaction is one of the hot issues of geotechnical earthquake engineering research.There,exploration of sand liquefaction fundamentals,influence factor and liquefaction expression method,has important theoretical application value.Study on sand liquefied in the planning area of Songyuan City,based on the existing liquefaction survey data in mainland China,and establish the new formula for hyperbolic discrimination.The proposed hyperbolic discriminant formula and the reliability of the discriminant results are verified by histories data from Songyuan earthquake,Bachu earthquake in Xinjiang and New Zealand earthquake.Sand liquefaction in the planning area of Songyuan City is discriminated by four methods,and discussed and analyzed the reasons of different partition caused by different discrimination methods.The research results are adopted by planning of Songyuan earthquake prevention & disaster and provide a basis forsand liquefaction.The main work and research results are as follows:1.The liquefaction fundamentals and liquefaction influencing factors are summarized in this paper.The research status of sand liquefaction discrimination method at home and abroad are reviewed.Based on analysing of the present study results,the existing problems of evaluating liquefaction potential are pointed out.2.The information is collected which about Songyuan such as engineering geology,hydrogeology,seismogeology,engineering site seismic safety evaluation report,engineering site survey report,et al.The survey of Songyuan earthquake with5.7 in 2018 was carried out by field investigation,drilling sampling and field testing,and obtained basic data for the study of sand liquefaction in the Songyuan City.3.Based on 198 sets of liquefaction data from Tangshan,Tonghai,Haicheng and Songyuan earthquake,et al,and present a new discrimination model to attack the disadvantage of existent method.Used survey data of liquefaction site such as mainland China,Songyuan,Bachu and New Zealand earthquake to check the reliability of the formula.It is proved that the new formula can be used in the following work.4.Used to distinguish the sand liquefaction in the planning area of Songyuan City by SPT,shear wave velocity,Seed-Idriss and hyperbolic discriminant formula.The sand liquefaction zoning map under different intensity in the planning area of Songyuan City is made,and the results of different discrimination methods are compared and analyzed.
