With the gradual development of the national economy,the overexploitation of the land bygovernment has led to the scarcity of resources.Nowadays,the strategic goal has been transferred to ocean,and the deep development of island resources has become the consensus of all countries.At present,the common island environment monitoring systems in China are complicated and their performances are different.For example,the Zig Bee based island environment monitoring system networking scheme is deployed in an outdoor large-scale island environment.Facing the unfavorable factors such as climate change of the island,inconvenient manual maintenance and scattered nodes,the actual operation effect has efficiency gap in outdoor and indoor environment of the Zig Bee network.Therefore,we can reduce the number of nodes deployed,and realize the island environment information monitoring system with low power consumption,long distance and reliable transmission.Andthe work has obvious practical value and theoretical research significance.In response to this demand,we designed and implemented island environment monitoring system based on LPWAN.In the island environmental information monitoring,we applied the LPWAN,Co AP protocol and Web server technologies.Through the analysis of the energy consumption and the link quality data,the actual network transmission energy consumption is calculated more accurately,and the reliable collection of relevant environmental information in real time is realized.Firstly,we designed and built an island environment monitoring system based on LPWAN.The system used a micro control unit based on Arduino,and equipped with various sensors such as water turbidity,p H value,water temperature.The system used the Lo Ra WAN transmission protocol as a wireless communication method.We constructed the network topology and the networking of sensor terminal nodes by the worst-case nodes deployment principles,and completed the collection of environmental information.Secondly,we used Co AP protocol to design the indoor gateway node monitoring scheme.The Co AP protocol interconnects the 6Lo WPAN and the IPv6 network by deploying the 6Lo WPAN border router.Thirdly,we deployed LPWAN and WSN in the island monitoring area.We compare the routing nodes informationof the LPWAN terminal nodes and the WSN terminal nodes.Based on network topology complexity,network energy consumption and network deployment costs,we comprehensive evaluation of the overall performance of LPWAN and WSN.Then we proved that the LPWAN technology in the island environment has certain advantages.
