| The risk decision-making of international project managers in the planning stage directly determines the success or failure of the project.Risk preference is an important factor in risk decision-making.It is very necessary to research which factors affect risk preference and how to affect it.Based on literature review and expert interview,the thesis identifies the influencing factors of risk preference of international project managers,builds up the theoretical model based on the theory of planned behavior and proposes relevant hypotheses.Questionnaire was designed for identified influencing factors,and distributed to international engineering managers for data collection,data analysis using structural equation modeling,and research hypothesis verification.The results show that:(1)Attitude,perceived behavior control and personal experiences of international project managers have significant positive effect on risk preference;Subjective norms have no direct significant effect on risk preference,but have an indirect effect on risk preference through the mediating effect of attitude and perceived behavior control.(2)Country environment has significant positive effect on subjective norm and perceived behavior control;Country environment has no direct significant effect on attitude,but has an indirect effect on attitude through the mediating effect of subjective norm and perceived behavior control.(3)From the perspective of the total effect of risk preference,the subjective norm has the largest effect,and the total effect size of other dimensions is ranked as attitude,personal experience,perceived behavior control.(4)There is no significant difference in the risk preference of international project managers in terms of gender,age,education,salary and position.This study empirically analyzes the influencing factors and mechanism of the risk preference of international project managers,and provides some reference for the theoretical research of international construction risk decision-making.At the same time,it is helpful for international construction enterprises to optimize and perfect the enterprise and project risk decision management system. |
