In this study,the phylogenetic development and the taxonomy Chinese Dorylinae explored based on morphometrics and molecular data,14 traits were measurand from 183 specimens belonging 25 species 6 genera of the Dorylinae,the data obtained saving as the CSV format,two methods of morphometrics(ANNs and GMM)using R software for species identification and analysis,the DNA barcode fragment of the COI gene of 175 specimens of 8 genera 28 species were amplified and determined by PCR,The base frequences,base substitutions,codons frequence,amino acids composition and genetic distances of DNA sequences were analyzed by using DNAtar CLUSTALX 4.14?MEGA 7?BioEdit software,the phylogenetic tree of these species by using Neighbor Joining(NJ),Bayesian Inference(BI)and Maximum Likelihood(ML)methods.Combining morphometrics and molecular systems analysis,the main results are as follows:(1)Species identification of 25 species of 6 genera of the army ant subfamily based on morphometricsthe result shows:The identification success rate of ANNs is 79.8%,all individuals within the species have been successfully identified and there are 2 species;the identification success rate of GMM is 88.5%,8 species were successfully identified within the species,Gaussian mixture model is better for identifying army ant.(2)The phylogenetic tree of 28 species of 8 genera of army ant subfamily Based on COI barcode sequence,the results show that: The Aenictus,Dorylus and Lioponera in the group in this study are monophyletic groups,Aenictus and Dorylus as a sister-group,Dorylus being as a genus of army ant subfamily;The C.sulcinodis and C.xizangensis,A.fuchuanensis and A.ceylonicus,A.dentatus and the A.bobaiensis have been proved to be independent species using this method.(3)Four new species have been discovered on the basis of morphology,combining molecular phylogenetic analysis and morphometric studies,respectively: A.chongzuoense sp.nov.,P.yunchuani sp.nov.,P.bicolor sp.nov.and O.octoantenma sp.nov.(Submission has been received).(4)Species identification results are basically consistent based on molecular phylogenetic studies and morphometrics,the results are basically consistent with traditional taxonomic identification.
