With 5G era coming,optical communication technology,as the basis for the advancement of information society,is bound to usher in a new round of vigorous development and technological change.In the information age,users always keep the desire for higher transmission rate and capacity.,so with the increasing maturity of wavelength division multiplexing(WDM)technology and related modulation technology in backbone network applications,it becomes imperative to introduce WDM technology in the field of access network to improve transmission bandwidth and capacity.Unfortunately,relatively high WDM equipment still limits its rapid promotion,so how to reduce equipment cost while maintaining high performance transmission has become a hot topic in the industry.As the core of WDM technology,the cost of integrated optical transceiver module is the key to optimize cost of WDM system.So,this paper take a V-cavity tunable laser as the emitting end source,which is used to design a tunable optical module.In this paper,the V-cavity tunable semiconductor laser is investigated which is a low cost tunable diode laser.Since no grating is needed,the process is simple,and there are only three resonant cavities to control the wavelength tuning,the cost is reduced from the production,and the control algorithm to make the wavelength tunable is simplified.By analyzing the high speed performance of V-cavity tunable laser(including S parameter and eye diagram),the application scenarios of different packaging types and modulation modes are proposed.This paper focuses on analyzing the optical module designation of high-speed hardware circuit,including the selection of high-speed optical transceiver chip,the optimization transmission line,and the designation of matching circuit,filter network,balance circuit,etc.As the same time,by using the simulation software to optimize and analysis,determine the feasibility of the scheme,and finally put forward different optical module high speed circuit design scheme under direct modulation and electric absorption modulation.In addition,by debugging the designed SFP+module,this paper finally determines the SFP+high-speed circuit of various v-type lasers based on the eye chart and the signal-to-noise ratio.And through the bit error rate(BER)test,including high and low temperature BER testing,long distance transmission BER testing,etc.,and proves the SFP+ module of the design is met the commercial use,which ensures excellent transmission performance under different application scenarios such as 2.5gbit/s and 10Gbit/s rate by using different packaging forms as the emitting light source.
