The study area is located at the northern foot of Mount Bogda in the middle of Tianshan Mountains and the southern margin of Junggar basin.It belongs to Bogda late Paleozoic rift,and is an important Bogda cu-zn-b-oil shale phosphorus metallogenic belt.Based on the 1:50000 regional geological and Mineral Investigation in Ganhezi area of Eastern Tianshan,Xinjiang,on the basis of previous geological data and scientific research results,combined with the strata,magmatic rock,structure,geophysical and geochemical remote and mineral work in the area,this paper studies the ore-bearing and metallogenic background of the bogdafeng area,and comprehensively analyzes and studies the copper polymetallic metallogenic potential of the Mount Bogda area.Based on the statistical analysis of the characteristics of enrichment coefficient,variation coefficient and superimposed strength coefficient of later stage of ore-forming elements of each geological unit in the study area,and the ranking of their ore-forming ability,it is considered that the dominant minerals of tashkula formation are as,Sb,Au,Mo,qijiagou formation are as,Sb,Bi,Cr,Ni,Liushugou formation are Zn,as,Co,and the dominant minerals of gabbro and diabase The dominant minerals of monzonite and diorite are co,Zn and Sn.The distribution law of the anomalies is analyzed and studied.The main anomalies in the study area are distributed in the rock mass and structural development parts.The newly discovered five copper(mineralized)points are comprehensively analyzed,and each of them is described and analyzed in detail,and the ore body characteristics,ore genesis and metallogenic model in the study area are comprehensively analyzed.The results show that mineralization is closely related to basic volcanic rocks,Late Carboniferous diorite,gabbro and NW and NW structures in Liushugou formation.It is preliminarily determined that there are four areas with mineralization potential in bogdafeng area,i.e.Xitaizi copper,Jincheng mining area(B-1),bogdaban copper,jinyincheng mining area(C-1),sanjiagou copper,chromium,cobalt and nickel mining area(B-2))Quanquangou copper,chromium and cobalt mining area(C-2).According to the distribution characteristics of ore deposits,ore body characteristics and metallogenic model of the study area,combined with the results of ore-bearing evaluation of the strata in the study area,it is analyzed that the main ore types in the study area are mainly copper and gold,and there is the possibility of silver,chromium,cobalt and nickel polymetallic ores.It is also considered that the Xitaizi copper and gold ore area(B-1)and the three Chagou copper,chromium,cobalt and nickel ore area(B-2)have certain metallogenic potential Power.
