Juice premixer is a mixing device which produces relative motion between thematerials and changes the relative position of materialsand stratification phenomenoncaused by thedifference of materials was overcomed constantly to reach uniformdistribution of each component. Juice premixer utilized the impact flow and hydrauliccavitation effect when fluid getting through a current limit area (such as geometryorifice, venturi tube, etc.) to achieve sufficient mix of materials. In this paper, fruitjuice premixer mixing effect was analysised through computer numerical simulationcombined with experimental study methods. Fruit juice premixer as the researchobject: firstly, using the Fluent software to simulate mixing effect of juice mixer;secondly, verify the juice premixer mixing effect further via the mix test of starchsolution and distilled water and tested numerical simulation of mixed juice by theFluent software; thirdly, the sodium carbonate solution and distilled water was mixedby juice mixer and analyze the factors affecting the effects of mixed juice premixer;Finally, mixing fruit juice and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose through the juicepremixer, analyzing the influence factors of the effect of mixed juice premixer anddesigning orthogonal experiment to achieve the optimum process conditions.The maincontent of and conclusions the experiment are as follows:1. The numerical simulation research of juice premixerWith starchsolution and distilled water as medium, the volume fraction of starchsolution as detect objects, the hybrid numerical simulation about effect of the mixtureof fruit juice premixer was researchd by Fluent software. The results show thatmixture multiphase flow using the hybrid model and the standard k-? model (Standard)turbulence model are better for simulating the pre-mixer juice which mixing results,the greater extension lanyard of throat department structure, shorter length andsmaller diameter ofthroat department, the better premixed fruit juice; the greaterthroat inlet cone angle and outlet cone angle, the better juice premixer premixed; thegreaterentry point pressure and smaller outlet pressure of juice premixe, the betterjuice premixer premixed. The lower starch solution concentration, the better fruit juicepremixer premixed effect.2. Using the mixed of starch solution and distilled water by juice premixer to verifythe mixing effect of simulation through the fluent.The test which mixed starch solution and distilled water by fruit juice premixershowed that larger juice premixer entry point pressure, lower starch solution concentration and higher temperature before mixing was beneficial to get a goodpremixed result.3.Preliminary application research of the using of juice premixer to mix sodiumcarbonate solution and distilled water.Through the juice premixer mixed sodium carbonate solution and water, weresearch that the juice premixer entry point pressure, concentration of sodiumcarbonate solution and the temperature of the solution have a little impact on theeffects of premixing of sodium carbonate solution and water. The influence of juicepremixer circulating mixing time was small for the effect of premixing.4.Preliminary application research of the using of premixer for mixing passion fruitjuice and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose solutionThe experiment which premixed passion fruit juice and of the sodiumcarboxymethyl cellulose solution via fruit juice premixer to study the optimumprocess conditions. The first step, juice premixer entry point pressure, time,concentration of passion fruit juice, the temperature of the mixed solution wasanalysised respectively. The second step is to get more suitable factor carries on thefour factors three levels orthogonal experiment. The third step, the result wasanalysised through orthogonal experiment, the best process conditions of premixingof passion fruit juice and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose solution: the concentrationof passion fruit juice is24%(v/v), fruit juice premixer entrance pressure is0.3MPa,the temperature of the solutiontemperature before mixing is40?, mixed cycle timeis9min.
