Auto Panel generally could be divided into two major categories, the inside Panel andthe outer Panel and is an important part of the cars, its forming process is a largedeformation and large displacement process which is collect a variety of nonlinearproblem in the integration, forecast and control the deformation process of the Auto Panelhave considerable difficulty, for some cars manufacturers, Auto Panel forming has becomethe technical bottleneck to develop new models of cars, so,researching the forming ofAuto Panel is very important.This paper first introduces the domestic and foreign Auto Panel manufacturing leveland related research status, and then, from the perspective of the metal plastic forming, thestress of sheet metal deformation that in space scope description and the classification ofthe stress tensor and the stress in the process of sheet metal in the plastic formingequilibrium conditions; And related mechanics theory of the Auto Panel during the processof stamping was further studied, including the constitutive relations and yield criterion,etc.The problem of Auto Panel stamping is analysised by the finite element method inthis article. First the description of the coordinates and strain measurement of the AutoPanel is introduced when they are in the finite element analysising, and then discusses theselected unit types in the process; Auto Panels are able to stamping, in some ways it canbe understood as the result of sheet metal in contact with the mould friction, so for AutoPanels contact problem in finite element simulation analysis is also made a simpleintroduction, the main have mechanical model of contact problem and the penaltyfunction method which is suitable for Auto Panels contact problem processing method.In terms of the springback defect, this paper studied the theory of factors whichmake the springback deeply; Analysised the factors that are affect the accuracy ofsimulation in finite element simulation, the size of the sheet metal grid, and themathematical model in the process of sheet metal in the simulation.In the process of finite element simulation analysis, select the software AutoFormwhich is the common stamping software for the automotive industry, A typical B columnas an example, systematically elaborated all the Auto Panels' steps in the process of finiteelement analysis, including the drawing process, flanging process and forming process?parameters setting for calculating the springback are introduced in detail. All process andparameter settings are consistent with the actual production, to ensure the reliability of thesimulation analysis.Useing the scientific orthogonal test method in respect of springback compensation,in the process settings corresponding to the actual production of the four factors threelevels orthogonal test, and then choosing the appropriate orthogonal tableL934Achievethe ideal effect when use the method to compensate the springback after stamping the B column.
