Counter-pressure casting is a casting method is derived based on the low pressure casting.The low pressure casting is the mold cover in a sealing cover,filled with compressed gas,under certain pressure to cast in the gas,that is different from counter-pressure casting.The heat insulation furnace gas pressure is greater than the pressure of the gas in a mold when the liquid metal filling,such as casting as the liquid metal filling,holding and boosting pressure.However,the casting solidification under pressure is lower,so it can ensure to obtain higher density of casting.In this article,based on the material of ZL101 alloy,first design the metal mold,then do the Counter-Pressure casting experiments to study effect of Process Parameters on the Formability in Counter-Pressure Casting for the metal mold.First of all,according to the experimental conditions to determine the structure of the experimental method and test casting metal mold casting,combined with the design method and principle of the metal mold design of metal mold for differential pressure casting technology.Experiment design of counter pressure casting technology based on the mold design.In the mold design,on the basis of designing Counter-Pressure pressure casting process.After applying the design of experiment on pre-designed parameters such as filling pressure,and the temperature of the mold,the simulation result is obtained by ProCAST simulation software.And then,the Counter-Pressure casting process program of pouring trials is performed preliminarily.Through the simulation results and actual results contrast analysis,adjusting the pouring process,a relatively stable method is achieved in the end.To mechanical performance testing of castings that in the as-cast condition and after heat treatment,and observe the microstructure of two kinds of condition.After Counter-Pressure casting alloy forming the maximum tensile strength at room temperature can reach 185.5MPa,5.5%elongation,Brinell hardness of 58.Compared with the conventional gravity casting alloys,strength increased by 19.7%,elongation increased 175%,and hardness increased 16%.This result is mainly due to the Counter-Pressure casting process,greatly improving the density of the alloy,the mechanical properties of the alloy has been significantly improved.
