At present,the design of the feeding system of casting mainly rely on artificial experience for its structure,according to the experience in the long-term production method(modulus method,ratio method,the cubic equation method,perimeter and commercial law,etc.)to calculate,but the design of the feeding system is not reasonable,the size error is large,can’t eliminate internal defects of castings;At the same time,using the casting simulation software for casting process simulation,defect prediction has been widely used in practical production.Therefore,combining technological design and the numerical simulation technology,will be the main direction of foundry industry in the future.Through to the aluminum silicon alloy simple feeding system design,and the coagulation time to study the relationship between the size of the riser,to figure out a calculation model based on the numerical simulation of the feeding system;The paper summarizes the common methods of gating system design,find out the gating system design model.To My Eclipse software for the system development platform,the Java language script preparation process,by MySQL and JDBC components to complete the database creation,management;Through the platform to compile,link,complete aluminum silicon alloy castings feeding for the development of expert system.Finally in the filter cover,the numerical simulation of the pump shell,a verification experiment verifies the accuracy and reliability of this system.Al-Si alloy castings feeding expert system based on the analysis of the input condition calculation,complete the casting gating system design,and then to numerical simulation of casting and gating system,according to the simulation results of defect in time for the feeding system design,with defect were tested,the shrinkage of isolated molten pool eventually concluded that the feeding system of the optimal design scheme.The system user interface is intuitive and easy to understand,the database of large data storage,cumbersome operations and a large number of process data are found in the background,making the design process scientific and reasonable,to improve the casting production process,improve product quality,design efficiency,shorten product development Cycle has a certain guiding significance.
