Botanical-derivated VFB was a new kind of anti-viral pesticide which was developed by Research and Development Center of Biorational Pesticide,Northwest A&F University.Portulacaoleracea L.is the main processing material of VFB.Preliminary researches indicated that VFB played an important role in prevention and general treatment against various virus diseases.It had a broad prospect of application.At present,although the basic procressing technic was explicit,there were some questions both its high cost,poor treatment and some unclear indexes of the procressing technic to be solved,the further optimization on procressing technic had to be carried out.Based on the above problems,we firstly allocated and optimized the basic formula of VFB,and received two kinds of new formula VFB-? and VFB-? which were low cost and obviously improve the treatment effect,then carried out field trials.There were some results we got as the following:(1)The results indicated that the synergist TK and ZM showed a significant inhibitory activity against TMV.(2)The anti-tobacco mosaic virus(TMV)activity of VFB with TK and ZM was tested by local lesion methods.Ultimately determine the optimal formula was:60%VFB,0.2%oligochitosan,40%ZM.The results show that VFB-? displayed significant inactivation on TMV,the inhibition rate were 83.41%after mixing VFB with TMV for 0.5 h.The infection and replication of TMV to Nicotiana glutinosa also were inhibited by VFB-I,with inhibition rate of 69.80%and 54.06%,respectively.VFB-? was much higher than that of 20%moroxydine'cupric acetate WP and VFB..(3)On the basis of VFB-?,we replaced the VFB with purslane extract,and got a new formula VFB-?.Ultimately determine the optimal formula was:54%Purslane extract,0.2%TK,40%ZM and 10%additives.The results show that VFB-? displayed significant inactivation on TMV,the inhibition rate were 82.58%after mixing VFB with TMV for 0.5 h.The infection and replication of TMV to Nicotiana glutinosa also were inhibited by VFB-?,with inhibition rate of 58.63%and 48.80%,the protection efficiency of VFB-? on tobacco virus disease was equivalent to that of VFB-?,but was higher than that of 20%moroxydine · cupric acetate WP at the same concentration(4)Pot experiment of VFB-? and VFB-? againt TMV showed that VFB-? and VFB-? was superior to the contrast pesticide both in preventive test and in treatment test.Futhermore,the preventive test was significantly higher than the treatment.(5)In the field plot trials of VFB-? and VFB-? againt TMV,the experiment results indicated that the spraying ways of the 100 times of VFB-? and VFB-? were betterthan Moroxydine+Cupric acetate,W.P.(20%).(6)The anti-tobacco mosaic virus(TMV)activity of 4 compounds was tested by local lesion methods,and the results indicated that the glycyrrhizin and kaempferol showed a significant inhibitory activity against TMV on different host species at a concentration of 1 mg/mL.Those two compounds could strongly inactivate TMV in vitro,and the inhibition rate of necrotic local lesions could reach 51.57%and 45.98%,respectively;they also had a good preventive effect on TMV infection to N.glutinosa,and the preventive effect rates were 48.17%and 41.43%,It can be concluded that the glycyrrhizin and kaempferol were main antiviral compounds of VFB.(7)In accordance with the law of the People's Republic of China chemical industry standard(HG/T 2467.6 2003)testing method,the VFB-? agent were determined,the results showed that VFB-? water insoluble substance mass fraction is 0.65%,pH 4.6,after dilution,low temperature and heat storage performance are uniform,no precipitation,conform to the standards of the People's Republic of China chemical industry.To sum up,The VFB formulation was optimized,and got new formulations of VFB-?and VFB-?.the 2 kinds of antiviral agents has a higher anti-TMV activity and great potential against tobacco mosaic disease for exploitation and utilization.
