In this thesis,a simple solvothermal treating approach to prepare highly ordered mesoporous bioactive glass(MBG)with adjustable mesopores(4.6~30.1 nm)was reported.The bioactivities in vitro of the synthesized MBG samples were tested and the drug loading and release properties for macromolecular BMP-2 and micromolecular DOX were investigated.Besides,hierarchically composite scaffolds were successfully prepared by loading of MBG into macroporous calcium phosphate cement(CPC)with simply centrifuging method.The drug loading and release properties of MBG/CPC for DOX were also investigated.Mesoporous bioactive glass(MBG),SBA-15 and KIT-6,with enlarged mesopores,expanded pore volume and improved periodicity were prepared via our developed solvothermal treating approach.It was proved that surfactants were removed simultaneously and silica framework further condensation was occurred during the solvothermal treating process.In addition,different solvents component,treating temperature and time were investigated.The results showed that the structure stability of the treated samples was significantly improved and the mesopore size could be tuned in the range of 4.6 to 30.1 nm.It is demonstrated that the bioactivity of MBG was significantly enhanced after solvothermal treating.The test showed that spherical carbonated hydroxyapatites(HCA)grown on MBG-ST,which is different from flake-like HCA grown on the conventional mesoporous bioactive glass.BMP-2 and DOX were chosen to study the drug loading and release properties of MBG-ST.It is found that BMP-2 and DOX were effectively loaded into MBG-ST with high efficiency at 68.3%and 76.0%,respectively,and sustained drugs release in vitro performance were presented.Hierarchically composite scaffolds(MBG/CPC)were successfully prepared by loading of mesoporous bioactive glass(MBG)into macroporous calcium phosphate cement(CPC)with simply centrifuging method.It was revealed that MBG loading capacity on CPC,BET surface area and pore volume of MBG/CPC can reach 47.2%,100.1 m/g and 0.14 cm/g respectively.Drug loading and releasing tests showed that DOX loading capacity on hierarchically composite scaffolds was very high(46 mg/g)and a sustained drug release in vitro performance was presented on MBG/CPC.
