Every 1 Kg westalted hides only produces 0.2 kg finished leather in the leather industry.As China has such large a leather industry,investigating the utilization and industrialization of leather waste has great social value.The fiber used in this paper comes from leather waste carding on the unique machine aims the industrialization.This paper mainly talks about the way of using nonwoven technology process the products,according to the fiber characteristics,.so as to develop this industry.Previous studies found that the research is keep moving and the problems appears like the proper measurements of the fiber properties,the webing of the 100%collagen fiber and the low fabric strength.Based on the review of previous studies,this paper mainly furthered three aspects.According to the fiber features,this paper used the specific measurements to express its length,fineness and strength properties.Using the fixed mass measurement measured the fiber length.Defied the useful fiber to demonstrate the fiber fineness,using the accumulated fiber quantities based on the fixed grams to test the useful fiber fineness,and also using the accumulated fiber quantities based on the fixed grams to measure the useful fiber stength.Tested the DSC and the fiber length of 60,80,100 degree celsius,found that the fiber heat degree celsius should be less than 80?.The fiber moisture regain is 15%.The second part researched the fiber mass specific resistance and the water absorbtion rate which aims to reflect the fiber wettability.Aiming at the well web forming,the experiment used the three antistatic agent of different concentration to treat the fiber.Find that the TF-481 performances the best for it changes the fiber mass specific resistance from1011 ?g/cm2 to107 ?g/cm2.In order to have a better energy absorption,used the 0.01%?0.02%?0.03%?0.04%?0.05%?0.06%JFC to increase water-absorption rate.Finally find that the 0.03%JFC increased the water absorbtion rate obviously from 134%to 451%.Based on the experiments,the treatment of fiber is applying the TF-481 according to the fiber grams of 2.5%,and applying the JFC according to the fiber grams of 0.189%.The third part is the spunlace experiments of the 100%collagen fiber webs,10%polyester fiber and 90%collagen fiber,10%rayon fiber and 90%collagen fiber webs The first experiment is done with the 100%collagen fiber with different parameters configurations.The experiment find that the best water jet pressure is to make the fabric MD strength equal to CD strength which is the most efficient way of energu using without fiber damage due to the extra energy.The second experiment is done with the 10%polyester fiber collagen fibers and the 100%collagen fibers.The experiment find that the fabric grams,density and strength increase after every water jet while the thickness decrease.The MD elongation break decreases as the energy increase while the CD elongation firstly increases and then decreases.The third experiment is done with the 10%polyester fiber,the 10%rayon collagen fiber and the three-layer structure with the woven polyester fabric in the middle.The experiment find the 10%polyester is the best among the three method.In the end the esay explored the fabric strengthen way with chemicals.The experiments is done with the 100%collagen fiber in 45 ? aluminium hydroxide sulfate for threes hours.Fianlly the fiber strength increased 14.7%compared to the untreated fabric.
