Systematic investigation of the influence of the plain,oxalic treated nano-alumina and functionalized nano-alumina contents on the ultradrawing properties of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene/nano-alumina(UHMWPE/Al2O3,F100Ay),UHMWPE/oxalic acid treated nano-alumina(F100Aox%-8-y)and UHMWPE/functionalized nano-alumina(F100Aox%-81PEg-MAHZW)as-prepared fibers are reported.The Dra value of F100Ay and F100Aox%-y as-prepared series fiber specimens were significantly higher than F100 fiber specimens which not added nano-alumina.At the same added amount of nano-alumina,The Dra value of F100Ao1%-8-y,F100Ao2%-8-y and F100Ao3%-8-y as-prepared series fiber specimens were much higher than F100Ay fiber specimens.As original and nano-alumina add to 0.1 phr opitimization,The Dra value of F100Ay and F100Aox%-8-y as-prepared series fiber specimens all reach a maximum.The Dra value of the sample F100Aox%-8-0.1 with the oxalic acid concentration up to 2%optimal concentration,the samples Dra value reaches another maximum value of 128.1n addition,the samples of F100Aox%-81PEg-MAHzwDra value with the added functionalization nano-alumina increased to 0.075 phr,F100Aox%-81PEg-MAHz0.075 series fiber specimens Dra value reachs a new maximum.With PEg-MAH/acid-treated nano-alumina weight achieve optimal ratio of 8,F100Aox%-81PEg-MAH80.075 series fiber specimens Dra value are higher than F100Aox%-81PEg-MAHz0.075 series fiber specimens.In order to understand these interesting extension of nature,this paper studies the functionalized nano-alumina surface patterns,infrared spectroscopy and specific surface area analysis,in addition,DSC thermal properties of the samples,the orientation values and tensile strengths were studied.
