Separation And Extraction Of Caudaside

The extraction yields of different parts of Ornithogalum caudatum Ait are contrasted the thin-layer chromatography(TLC)method and the HPLC method,The yield of corm of Ornithogalum caudatum Ait is 0.98%,which is highest.The yield of leaf and fibril of Ornithogalum caudatum Ait is 0.71%,and 0.43%respectively.Extracting techniques is experimentally studied by using methods of boiling,the water ultrasonic extraction,the alcohol diffusion,and the alcohol ultrasonic extraction.The result showes that:the caudaside yield by the alcohol diffusion is higher,and the alcohol diffusion is simple and efficient.The optimum extraction condition is determined just as followed:adding fifteen times amount of 60%alcohol and the alcohol diffusion extraction for three times under 70?,five hours once.The caudaside is purified by AB-8 macroporous resin.The adsorption capacity of AB-8 resin column is 54.2mg/mL.AB-8 macroporous resin is eluted using 20%ethanol,40%ethanol,and 70%ethanol one by one,this achieves the effect of prefractionation.
