In the process of mine exploitation,groundwater pollution is more serious.It leads to groundwater contamination that a large number of wastewaterderived frommineral processing can enter the aquifer through different channels.Therefore,the study of groundwater pollution is a key issue to evaluation of mining pollution.Thispaper takes Wunugetu mountainCopper-Molybdenum mine for example to construct groundwater solute transport model to solvethe issue that whether the tailings pond will affect the groundwater of downstream residents in the study area.During the course of study,firstly,the author takethefieldmethodtoabtain the hydrogeological parameters of the study area.Secondly,the author construct groundwater flow model by Visual Modflow 4.0 software and select arsenic,molybdenum,nitrite as the particular pollutants to construct the groundwater solute transport model in three different pollution situations by MT3D module.It can be used to predict whether the contaminant transport will cause the groundwater pollution to the downstream residents within the process of miningFinally,the author analyzes the sensitivity of dispersion using sensitivity analysis methodand illustrate the impact of dispersionon solute transport model.Results show thatthe total arsenic filtration rate reaches 99.91%,the removal rate of nitrite is as high as 99.75%and molybdenum filtration rate has reached 99.31%afterthe leaching of the vadose zone.Therefore,the antifouling performance of the study area is well.It can reduce the concentration of the pollutants into the aquifer effectively.The contaminant transportinthe aquifer is associated with initial concentration,pollution time and working condition.If the initial concentration is higher,forecast time shows longer and the working conditions cause the leakage area larger,the migration that contaminants flow to the downstream is farther.Under the three kinds of assumption situations,contaminants don't cause pollution to the groundwater of downstream residents.With thelast of time,the sensitivity of dispersion will strengthen gradually,and the influence on solute model will also reinforce.
