It is difficult to obtain an ideal lubrication effect for grinding process because of insufficient lubricating fluid in grinding contact area.The impregnated grinding wheels and the grinding wheels added micro capsules that contained lubricant cannot release the lubricant smoothly during grinding process.This paper use the complexes that were synthesized by ?-cyclodextrin(?-CD)and lubricant additives as filler into abrasive tools,and the friction and wear properties of complexes and their wheels was investigated,the main work and conclusions are as follows:1.The ?-CD/oleic acid inclusion complex and ?-CD/pentasulfide bis pentyl(RC2540)inclusion complex were prepared by coprecipitation and Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and thermo-gravimetric analysis(TG)were used to characterize them.2.The results of four-ball test indicated:the ?-CD/oleic acid inclusion complex can form a new composite lubrication film which exhibited tribological performance of both ?-CD and oleic acid,and showed excellent anti-friction and anti-wear properties at both low and high loads;the ?-CD/RC2540 inclusion complex can form a chemistry adhesion film by(3-CD which expressed good anti-friction and anti-wear properties at low load,and it can form FeS lubrication film by chemical reaction between S(from RC2540)and Fe which exhibited good anti-friction and anti-wear properties at high load.3.The curing temperature and time had a bad influence to complexes on anti-friction and anti-wear properties,but the properties were still good when the complexes were heated at 165? for 7 hours.FTIR proved the phenolic resin bonded tools were fully cured and the complexes in it didn't react.Besides,the mechanical strength can meet the requirement of tools when the mass fraction of complex in the tools was lower than 20%.4.At low load,the friction coefficient of the tools added with complexes was lower than normal tools and the abrasion loss was close to normal tools;at high load,the hardness and the strength of the tools added with complexes was lower than normal tools,the friction coefficient and abrasion loss became bigger.
