S Mine is one of most important mines that belong to Shandong Gold Group with the location of San Shandao Special Industrial District,Laizhou City.With the continuous falling of global mining industry,the weak demand of main mining products and continued depression of mining products `price,the development of global mining industry will in the ice period in the following two years and recovery will take time.Under this circumstance,the management methods of S Mine should be reformed effectively in order to improve the industrial competitiveness.In terms of performance management,the department performance management system of S Mine should be optimised due to the mismatching of performance management and mine's development strategy and ineffective utilisation of the result of performance management.Hence,employees would be inspired incessantly and the performance will be improved.The main content of this essay is the optimisation research of S Mine's department performance management plan.Essay's Structure: First of all,the main content of summary is the background of research and meanings.Meanwhile,essay's way of thinking,methods and research framework and content are introduced respectively.Secondly,the main content is the definition of performance management and literature summary.Relevant performance management theories and methods which were utilised during the research will be described in this section.Thirdly,the main content is the current situation of S Mine's department performance management.Based on the previous performance management system analysis,the mine's department performance management system could not reflect the strategic target of mine's management,imperfection of performance management system and motivational issues of the utilisation of performance management results through methods of site investigation and questionnaire survey.Fourthly,mine's department performance management index would be enhanced through the theory of balance score card.Index weight calculation will be adapted by AHP.Fifthly,the implement methods and supporting measures of the optimisation of performance management system will be provided which aim at identified issues.S Mine's department performance management system will be optimised through following methods.First,index of S Mine's department performance management system will be redesigned in order to be quantitative from four dimensions such as finance,clients,internal process and learning and development with the utilisation of balance score card.Second,departments'compensation changes,promotions,employees'trainings and non-financial rewards would be improved based on the result of performance evaluation,the utilisation process of which will be also enhanced.Third,the result of performance evaluation will get feedback.Meanwhile,the departments'performance will be analyzed.Employees'performance will be improved through performance interview and performance enhancement plan.
