The use of fossil energy and land use change is a major source of global carbon emissions. The core of inland river basin in arid zone is the water, the core area is oasis, and the most basic element of the oasis is irrigation district.Combined characteristics of soil and water resources have affected the land utilization way, which determines the amount of carbon emissions.Calculate the carbon emissions of irrigation and Spatial distribution differences, reveal the impact mechanism of carbon emissions,it has great theoretical and practical significance in carbon emission reduction strategies. The paper base on experience of related research at home and abroad, use 24 irrigation districts in Zhangye as a case, classify the land use into 8 categories, analyzes each irrigation carbon sinks(emissions)?carbon profit loss level and spatial differentiation.Base on STIRPAT model, analysis influence of water resources and economic factors on carbon emissions, and puts forward some countermeasures of emission reduction. The results showed that :1.The amount of carbon sinks(carbon emissions)of a certain type of land use in each irrigation area is determined by the size of the area, and the total carbon emissions in irrigated areas are more than the total amount of carbon sinks, the overall performance of carbon loss, and difference index of the total carbon emissions on 24 irrigation districts >carbon sinks > carbon emission.2.The highest proportion of the total carbon sinks in the irrigation area is forest land. The highest proportion of the total carbon emissions in the irrigation area is urban construction and industrial land.3.The grade distribution map and cold hot spot distribution map of the average carbon total emissions and the average carbon emissions is highly coupled, while the average carbon sink is different from that of the carbon emissions.Determine the total amount of carbon emissions is the amount of carbon emissions, rather than the amount of carbon sinks4.The abundance and the degree of water resources in irrigation districts are different, which will lead to different land use, intensity, structure, and then affect the carbon emissions and carbon sink effect.Based on the STIRPAT model shows the actual water consumption, irrigation area, arterial, field ditch, total revenue, total expenditure willaffect different land use types, and suppress(promote)carbon sinks(carbon emissions)of a land use.5.The carbon emission reduction of land use mainly includes two aspects: increasing carbon sink and reducing carbon emissions,by optimizing the land use structure, reduce the area of urban construction and industrial and mining land, increase the area of woodland and grassland, optimal allocation of water resources, increase the amount of water used for farmland, woodland and grassland,to achieve the goal of increasing carbon emissions and reducing carbon emissions.
