This paper includes four chapters:Chapter 1:Synthesis of pillararene and its applications based on the host-guest propertyIn this chapter,synthetic methods of the pillararenes were summed up.From the occasional resin polymerization reaction to the mature catalytic synthesis method,from the simple methoxy-substituted mesazole aromatics to the complex water-soluble pillararenes,pillar[5]arenes containing five benzene rings to which including 10 benzene rings,from the single rigid cavity to the two or more cavities of dimer compounds.Because the pillararenes owned an electron-rich cavity,it is an important research significance for the chemical properties of the host and guest as a macrocyclic molecule.Therefore,this chapter also summarizes the type of force and the stage of development of the main body of the pillararene.Finally,the applications of pillararenes in different fields were summarized.On the basis of the literature review,the following experimental plan were put forward.Chapter 2 Unidirectional threading of tadpole-looking guests into a symmetric pillar[5]arene through host–guest complexationThis chapter focuses on a host-guest inclusion between the tadpole-like phenazine imidazole compound G1?or benzimidazole derivative G2?in the presence of long alkyl chain,and ethoxy completely modified pillar[5]arene EtP5A.Found that the direct of inclusion between two molecules could be controlled by the molar concentration of the pillar[5]arene EtP5A.That was verified by a series of methods,and finally caused that the directionally threading of G1?and G2?into cavity were forced by different interactions withing fluctuant concentrations.Chapter 3:Study on the"rewrite"of the ion recognition properties of G through forming the pseudo[2]rotaxane with water-soluble pillar[5]arene WAPIn this chapter,the water-soluble pillar[5]arene WAP was synthesized.The WAP could be conjugated to the phena zine imidazole compound G in the highly aqueous solution.Through their special inclusion formation,the recognition property of the single guest molecule G was finally optimized and"rewrite"to achieve high selectivity for Hg2+and Ag+.The property research of the pillararene in ion recognition owingh high value in the future.Chapter 4 Synthesis of Salts of Aromatic Hydrocarbons and Its Self-assembly Properties with Diamine CompoundsIn this paper,a kind of pillar[5]arene dimer was synthesized.In view of the above experimental experience and literature analysis,two diamine compounds?G3 and G4?with different alkyl chain lengths were selected as guest molecules,and the host-guest self-assemble and complex constants were respectively gained.It was concluded that the complexes of alkyl chains with eight carbon atoms were more stable than those containing four carbon atoms under the same conditions.
