| With the continuous improvement of the production,the foundry and other users have put forward higher requirements of the service life of the mould.In recent years,in order to meet the requirements of the customers,Yuchai technical equipment factory uses the P20 mould steel to replace iron HT250 to make the mold.P20 steel mold processing is pretty difficult to made,difficult to mold processing,seriously affecting the delivery time.Iinproving processing efficiency of P20 mould steel has become a problem to be solved.In this paper,we have got a new technology scheme for P20 mould steel combined with traditional processing technology,according to the characteristics of 6K body mold.The processing efficiency of P20 mould steel has been improved effectively combined with the optimized processing plan through three key tool solutions of the core box experimental comparison of the big plane,core box cavity and core box hole processing.This paper firstly studies on the core box 6K body mould for large cutting quantity,efficient processing of large plane.After the mold material insteaded of P20,it is seriously impacted on the production efficiency because the blank relatively has high hardness and it was hard to be milled and blade has been soon wear out.The above problems have been changed and efficiency has also been improved to some extent after some blade coating diamonds have been used,but the efficiency is still not high.Through comparativing test of different manufacturers related tool found:the cutter tooth is conducive to the chip and the processing is more suitable for P20 mould steel;the effect of negative rake angle of blade in the process of HT250 is very good,but not suitable for theprocessing of P20 mould steel;the rakeangle is positive rake angle and the cutting effect is good,stable milling and brisk.Futher research on application of further by choosing the diameter of cutter,cutter suitable number of gear teeth and the blade models make mould for large plane processing efficiency increased by 30%.Then study on the 6K body mold of the cavity efficient processing method,comprehensiving experiment research on the current.purchase enterprise tool,through the processing efficiency,processing cost and wear resistance,respectively from the two aspects of the high speed machining cutting and copying tool,has shown that it is not the bigger tool,the higher the efficiency in the milling complex mould cavity,the key lies on the comprehensive properties of the tool,which provides a good reference for the tool selection and efficient processing of 6K body cavity.Conclusions were draw by comparison of various schemes in the test holes machining:the high-speed steel drill with coating of cobalt has high hardness than ordinary high speed steel and the characteristics of high speed steelcutter good toughness at the same time.Because the coating,it’s abrasion resistance is good,so this kind of bit in the processing is suitable for P20 mould steel,especially the advantage in the hole processing is less than Φ20 of it is obvious;In the processing nozzlehole,the indexable special forming drill can greatly improve the processing efficiency.In this paper,in contrast to the experimental study of tool key process,also in combination with other switching of new problems after using P20 mould steel materials,we have optimized the overall technology scheme.The research results verified by actual mold processing have shown that the mold processing efficiency was greatly improved which mold processing of Yuchai has been accumulated valuable experience,also has a comprehensive benefit of the society. |
