Centralized Drinking Water Environmental Protection Projects In Huinan County

Santong River is one of the important drinking water sources in Huinan County.The use of chemical fertilizers,pesticides,and the discharge of human and animal manure is the main source of surface pollution in the Santong River Basin.Comprehensive management of the Santong River Basin will have direct implications for Huinan County's economy and society.At present,there are certain deficiencies in China's environmental protection for drinking water sources.The division of protected areas is not standardized and monitoring is not effective;awareness of emergency prevention;the legal system is not perfect;insufficient monitoring level.The project mainly determines the construction scale and construction plan based on the current status of the water environment,pollution and water supply and demand,and according to relevant regulations and standards,gives conclusions and recommendations.This project has divided the Santong River water source protection area into protected areas according to relevant laws and regulations and geological features.The divided protection areas include the first-level protection area,the second-level protection area and some quasi-protection areas.The total area of the protection area is 329.3km~2.The project's engineering tasks include:building an ecological slope protection and ecological green protection zone;building a fence,setting up signage;cleaning silt around the water intake;cleaning up domestic garbage and production waste in the area;drains for irrigation channels entering water sources,Build ecological ditch and ecological canal to effectively prevent pesticides and fertilizers from entering the water intake.The protection schemes corresponding to the engineering tasks in this paper mainly include:the scheme of dredging project,the construction scheme of ecological ditches,the plan for rural garbage cleanup,the design of protective nets,warning signs and emergency pools,and the plan for ecological restoration.By proposing the above plans,the production and living needs of the local government and people are met.After the implementation of the project,the water quality of the water source site will be significantly improved,the water source will be protected,it will be conducive to local development,the benefits will be significant,and it will have positive and far-reaching significance for the ecological environment.
