Polyurethane rigid foam is a kind of heat preservation material with good heat preservation effect,certain compressive strength and strong adhesive property with base material.But there are few researches on the application of polyurethane rigid foam in underwater equipment.This article researched the formula of rigid polyurethane foam.Investigated the effects of the type and amount of catalyst,the amount of foam agent,the amount of stabilizer agent and isocyanate index on the cream time,wire drawing time,non sticking time,volume expansion ratio,shrinkage rate and mechanical properties of the synthetic materials.The base formula was determined: Triethanolamine and triethylene diamine was selected as catalysts,the dosage was 2~3 copies and 0.3~0.5 copies;The ideal amount of foam agent was 0.2~ 0.6 copies;The ideal amount of stabilizer agent was 3~5 copies;Isocyanate index between 1.05 and 1.1 was appropriate and the amount of PAPI was in 99~105 copies.On the basis of this formula,amount of researches were studied under condition of different dosage of catalysts and foam agent.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and Flat Measuring Instrument for Thermal Conductivity were used to analysis the obturator rate,average pore diameter and thermal conductivity of the polyurethane rigid foam materials.The effects of the dosage of catalysts and foam agent on the properties of the materials had been found.The results showed: Tin catalyst and foam agent had great influences on property of polyurethane rigid foam.When the dosage of tin catalyst was 0.25 copies,the obturator rate of synthetic materials was up to 92%,the thermal conductivity reduced to 27.25 m W/(m·K),the water absorption rate decreased to 0.4232%.When the dosage of foam agent was 0.6 copies,the obturator rate of synthetic materials fell to 81%,the average pore diameter increased to 271 um,the thermal conductivity increased to 30.59 m W/(m·K),the water absorption rate increased to 0.8261%.This paper also studied how to optimize the mechanical properties of polyurethane rigid foam.Another polyether polyol,epoxy resin and the syntheticed epoxy resin-diethanolamine adduct(EP-DEA)were added to produce Different Polyurethane rigid foam materials,epoxy/polyurethane interpenetrating polymer network(EP/PU IPN)and EPDEA/PU IPN.The results showed: The appropriate amount of polyether 3050 was 30 copies,the tensile shear strength of the material increased to 0.79 MPa.The ideal amount of epoxy resin was 20 copies,the compressive strength of the material increased to 3.14 MPa and the tensile shear strength increased to 0.85 MPa.The ideal amount of EP-DEA was in 20 copies,the tensile shear strength increased to 1.10 MPa.
