With the building exterior wall thermal insulation material of fire events occurring in recent years, our country suffers from a substantial property damage and casualties, making the properties of thermal insulation material particularly important and causing people put forward higher requirements for fire resistance of materials. However, China's organic insulating materials used for exterior wall thermal insulation material have a very poor property of fireproof. Moreover, China's inorganic insulating materials such as aerated concrete, cement foam and so on exists some drawbacks like high density, high thermal conductivity, products are easy to crack, and a very complex preparation technology. So far, there is no thermal insulation materials with simple process technology and excellent product performance be used in Chinese building. Hence, this work with waste slag and fly ash as raw materials, water glass as bond agent, and bubble technology as means, prepared a type of high porosity and low thermal conductivity coefficient of polymer foam material. We have systematic studied on ratio of every material, which make a big difference of properties of polymer foam material. Ultimately, with our continuous test, we develop a base formula to making two different densities of foam material, then make a simple assessment on the two densities of the two foam materials and the feasibility of application of them. Main works are as follows:? Each raw material quantity added to on foaming material of compressive strength, density and porosity have significant effect, with the dosage of the water is particularly significant. And after a great deal of formula test for two kinds of different function foaming materials preparation formula, since the heat insulation to polymer foam material preparation formula:sodium silicate quality to total quality 12%,64% fly ash, slag 18%,1.20% hydrogen peroxide, PP fiber 0.48%‰,the water 47.52‰; Exterior insulation to geopolymer foam material preparation formula:sodium silicate 12.61%,58.83% fly ash, slag 16.81%, hydrogen peroxide 56.57%o, PP fiber 1.51‰, the water 58.22%o, foam stabilizer 0.64‰, auxiliary 0.56%o.? On the basis of two different densities of foam materials, by sampling inspection we know:when material has a bulk density of 180kg/m3, the thermal conductivity is 0.05W/(m·K), porosity is 85.15%,and compressive strength is 0.40MPa;while bulk density changes as 600kg/m3, the porosity is 64.17%, thermal conductivity is 0.12W/(m·K), and compressive strength is 2.12MPa.? Compared the existing light insulation heat reserpvation material, the preparation of this research from the heat insulation geopolymer foam material compressive strength index is slightly low, Exterior insulation geopolymer foam material compressive strength and coefficient of therm indexes are better than the cement foamed materials; The research of the preparation foaming material cost is low, the preparation technology is simple, it has very good market prospect.
