Compared with the traditional usage of lignite,used as fuel,extraction of montan wax and humic acid from lignite is more efficient and clean.As far as we know,lignite is rich in Heilongjiang province,especially in Baoqing.In order to explore a clean and efficient usage of lignite to improve the economic benefits,lignite,distrubuted in Baoqing of Heilongjiang,as an object,was researched in our study.The influencing factors,including particle size,moisture,temperature,oxygen conditions,on montan wax extraction content and extraction rate was studied.And the chemical constituents of the wax were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed using the GC-MS.Further,the chemical composition of lignite resin,as a large amount of by-product from the procedure of refined wax,was studied for the first time.The results showed:moisture content in lignite was the most significant influencing factor on montan wax extraction content and rate.When moisture content was 10-20%,the performances of montan wax extraction content and rate were better.When moisture content was 15-20%,they perform the best.Secondly,extraction rate of montan wax from large size lignite is higher than that of small size lignite;but the drying temperature has weak influence on extraction rate of montan wax;Vacuum drying can increase the extraction content of montan wax.In the study of the chemical composition,wax and resin component from Heilongjiang lignite was analyzed by compared to that from Eshan,Xundian and Zhaotong in Yunnan.The results showed that there was no significant difference in chemical constituents of montan wax and lignite resin,including their free acids,combined acids,alcohols,and hydrocarbons,among those three species from Heilongjiang,Eshan,Xundian and Zhaotong.
