FeCo nanomaterial has a wide application prospect,such as military,biomedical,chemical catalysis,because its high Curie temperature,excellent soft magnetic properties and catalytic performances.Magnetic nanomaterials properties strongly relate to its morphology,structure,size and composition.Therefore,a method to synthesize controllable FeCo nanomaterials is significat.However,up to now,growth mechanism of the FeCo low dimensional materials is still bottleneck problem.In this work,the FeCo nanomaterials were prepared by using thermal decomposition and influences of different reaction conditions,on the morphology and size of the FeCo nanomaterials have been studied.The growth mechanism of the FeCo nanomaterials was discussed.It's expect to provide experimental evidences for the controllable preparation of the low-dimensional materials.The main results are as follows:(1)The FeCo low dimensional materials with rod-like,cube-like,and spherical morphology have been synthesized by using thermal decomposition method.The nanomaterials have excellent soft magnetic properties.(2)There are a strong relationship between surfactants and morphologies of the low-dimensional FeCo nanomaterials.The spherical FeCo nanomaterials can be obtained by using surfactant oleylamine;and cube-like and rod-like nanomaterials can be synthesized by employing surfactant 1-Hexadecylamine.(3)Composition of the FeCo nanomaterials can be tuned by changing ratio of the precursors.When n Fe(CO)5:n Co2(CO)8 is 1:1.33 using dioctyl ether(OE)as the solvent,Fe and Co atomic ratio of the synthesized materials is about 1:1.When n Fe(acac)3:n Co2(CO)8 is 6:1 using tri-n-octylphosphine as the solvent.Fe and Co atomic ratio of the synthesized materials is about 1:1.(4)Different morphologies FeCo nanomaterials were synthesized by using different solvents.The rod-like,cube-like and spherical nanomaterial were obtained by using solvent dioctyl ether.The rod-like nanomaterials were obtained by employing solvent tri-n-octylphosphine.(5)The structure of the FeCo nanomaterials are related to the composition of the FeCo nanomaterials.When the ratio of Fe atom is lower than 15%,the structure of the FeCo nanomaterials is HCP,while the ratio of Fe atom is higher,the structure of the FeCo nanomaterials is BCC.(6)The FeCo nanomaterials growth mechanism has been discussed.When the FeCo nucleus grow up along<100>direction,rod-like nanoparticles can be obtained.While the nuceus grow up along<110>,<111>diection,cube-like nanomaterials can be synthesized.If the nucleus grow isotropically up,spherical nanomaterials are produced.The morphology of the nanomaterial can be controlled by modifying surfactant amount and type to guide anisotropy growth of the nuleus.
