With the improvement of production automation in the metallurgical industry,process control systems are universally adopted in the production process.The level 2 control system is a process control system based on the plate production line,which joint with the basic automation system(Level 1)and production management system(Level 3),making the production information system and basic automation system integrative.This process control system(Level 2)plays a non-substitutive role in improving the quality of products and the enterprise's competitiveness.So studying the level 2 control system of the plate production line is significant.In this thesis,firstly the background and purpose of the development of the system are introduced,and then based on the analysis of the system's demand the design principle of system and system configuration are introduced.The overall design scheme of the system is put forward,and the function of the system was explained in detail.Secondly,the importance of mathematical model in the rolling process was introduced,the basic parameters of rolling deformation zone as the theoretical basis,focusing on the rolling force model and two factors which effect rolling force presetting accuracy of:stress coefficient and resistance to deformation.Then,the establishment and function of virtual mill system are introduced.Based on the virtual mill,the simulation analysis of the rolling force model is carried out.Because the error of the rolling force model is large,so the model is modified by model adaption.The accuracy of the rolling force model is greatly improved after the correction,but there are still some errors.On this basis,a rolling force model adaptation method based on objective function is put forward using the genetic algorithm to optimize the adaptive coefficient,after correction setting accuracy of rolling force model has been further improved.Finally,the function and data flow of the level 2 control system of the plate production line is introduced,and the function of the system is realized.The setting function of rolling schedule in the two stage control system is introduced,and the interface of the five stand continuous rolling schedule is designed by using C#and Matlab.The interface on the basis for the preservation of the traditional rolling schedule calculation function introduce rolling force model of adaptive part,creating the conditions for the setting of the pre-intelligent on the rolling site.
