The functional development of numerical control system is beneficial for the further development of hybrid machine tool.Cumbersome and complicated operation panel and miscellaneous program structure are not conducive to non-professional programmers to use the hybrid machine functions.The establishment of 3-TPS Hybrid Machine Tool based on Clipper expand a path for the development of its function possibly.Aiming at the 3-TPS hybrid machine tool that is developed by Northeastern University independently,the author has developed the functions that are similar with conventional machine tools.Based on hardware platform of PMAC,the following aspects have been under deep studies:(1)As for 3-TPS hybrid machine tool,the formula for the 3-TPS Hybrid Machine Tool inverse kinematics and the Jacobi matrix which demonstrate the relationship for the speed of Cartesian space to the speed of the drive rod joint space are established.(2)Based on the 3-TPS hybrid machine tool,this paper analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of each interpolation algorithm.As the result of the comparison,the paper analyzes the sampling interpolation method that is applied to the linear interpolation and circular interpolation algorithm.The G codes of linear and circular interpolation interpreter are established.(3)Based on the hardware platform of Turbo PMAC,the paper has developed the functions of CNC according to the traditional numerical control system,such as the override of feed rate,the function of searching back to zero,the positive and negative software position limit,the positive and negative hardware position limit,the operation of jog by linkage of 5 axes.At the same time,the operator could monitor the positions for motors and the positions for coordinate systems.Also the paper developed the friendly interface using Visual Basic 6.0 and PMAC32 bit communication drivers PcommServer based on the above functions;(4)It is the carry out of the processing using the standard G code that verify the correctness of inverse kinematics for 3-TPS hybrid machine tool subroutines and programming of G code interpreter.
