Hot dip galvanizing is one of the most commonly used steel anti-corrosion technology,its products are widely used in the fields of industry,agriculture,construction and so on.In recent years,the market of hot dip galvanized sheet continues to expand,China has also become an important producer of hot dip galvanizing,but with the development of Asian in galvanized industry,zinc smelter is exiguous,zinc ore mining capacity is limited,these factors resulted in the tension situation of the zinc market,So the galvanized production lines are needed to improve the production efficiency.The modern zinc plating process is a continuous high-speed production,so the requirement of automatic control for the continuous hot dip galvanizing line(CGL)are gradually improved,iron and steel enterprises are competing in the development of hot dip galvanizing line to meet the growing market demand.The continuous hot dip galvanizing line in Angang is taken as the background,on the basis of the understanding of the development of galvanizing line production technology,the galvanizing line structure,process and control process as well as working principle are analyzed,the whole system is divided into entry section,center section and exit section,and these sections are designed respectively.On the basis of high performance controller C80-HPCI,the hardware selection,configuration and configuration are completed,the communication network are analyzed;at the same time,according to the requirements of system functional,the software and HMI are designed,the software function are completed through the using of ALSPA P80i.Material tracking function is the key to ensure the safety and continuity of the whole production line.In this paper,the tracking function of the galvanized wire is studied in two parts,which are material tracking and weld tracking.Steel rolling track is mainly on the position of the steel coil,processing process,setting,physical parameters of the steel rolling parameters such as comprehensive monitoring.Weld tracking completes the record of weld in different location;weld tracking can not only locate the running position of steel coil accurately,the operation situation of production line and also can protect the safety of the production line,when weld passes each specific position,the weld position are needed to know accurately,When weld passed different positions,they are needed to be special treated,to prevent the production line fault by improper handling.At the same time,the function of material partition,calculation,calibration and data storage are analyzed.From the effect of system running,continuous hot dip galvanizing line is running well,and all indexes meet the design requirements.
