As a national reserve base,oil storage tank is the main storage device for oil reserves,and it has military strategic significance for its global volume prediction.At the same time,the global 3/5's oil trade mainly depends on maritime transportation.In order to facilitate oil reserves,most of the oil reserve bases will be built near the ports.Therefore,timely acquisition of the estimated volume of oil tanks around the world will have a profound impact on China's strategic planning of ship transportation and the development of shipping economy.Because the traditional contact type oil tank volume measurement method is limited by the measurement conditions,it can only be applied to regional measurement,and can not meet the demand of oil tank volume measurement in the world.So the volume of oil storage tank can be obtained by the high resolution satellite remote sensing image,so as to achieve the purpose of measuring the volume of oil tanks around the world.The key to obtain tank volume from high-resolution satellite images is how to effectively get the height information of oil tanks from 2 dimensional images.After reviewing the literature at home and abroad,we can see that the height of oil tank is usually based on the shadow extraction method of oil tank.First,according to the properties of the shadow in the HSV color space model,using the spectral ratio technique,the shadow of the oil tank is extracted by combining the maximum variance method,the shadow area threshold method and the mathematical morphology method.Then,in the process of finding the shadow length of the oil tank,the shadow shape of the oil tank is similar to the crescent shape.According to the median method designed in this paper,the shadow length of the oil tank is calculated and the height of the oil tank is calculated.Thus,the calculation height of the oil tank with high precision is determined.Finally,the Hough transform is used to identify the top of the tank and calculate the radius of the tank and the volume of the oil tank.Based on high resolution 2 optical remote sensing image,the oil tank volume acquisition experiment is carried out.The experimental results show that the absolute error range of the actual tank volume and the calculated volume of the oil tank is between 0.0416×104m3 and 0.3050×104m3,and the relative error range is between 0.38%and 2.78%,and the calculation volume of the oil tank with high precision is obtained.In this paper,the height and the top radius of the oil storage tank are calculated through high-resolution satellite remote sensing images.Under the premise of ensuring the accuracy of the calculation,we can get the estimated volume of the oil tank conveniently and simply from the high score images...
