Titanium clad steel plate as a composite plate of large demand today,is being widely concerned and developed.The preparation of titanium clad steel plate by vacuum rolling is a good method of composite board production.Fashioned titanium steel plate which combined by vacuum electron beam process can be provided good performance through hot rolling.In the process of cladding rolling,distribution of strain and stress at the different metals contact face is a importantly influencing factor of the composite interface's mechanical property.It is more complex than single plate rolling.So it is extremely important to research deformation trend of contact face for the clad plate.Now,it is pretty mature for FEM ANSYS software to simulate rolling process.In this paper,the cladding rolling process is studied by using this method to find distribution of the composite interface's deformation and to provide a reliable basis for the actual production process for preparation of titanium clad steel plate by making vacuum composite rolling method.The main research issues are:(1)By FEM software ANSYS/LS-DYNA's numerical simulation and rolling experiment under laboratory conditions.By the rate of total pressure increases continuously finding the amount of deformation is penetrated into the interfacial region and deformation law.(2)In this paper,the stress and strain distribution of the interface between titanium and iron,iron and steel after adding iron interlayer are emphatically considered.Comparison of titanium clad steel plate without interlayer,deformation of interface is comprehensively analysed the effects of iron interlayer on the interface of composite.(3)According to the simulation results of rolling experiment,combining with the actual situation,find the critical conditions of the good composite and validate by experiments.
