Nickel-base superalloys still have good metal properties under complicated conditions such as high temperature and high pressure,so they are widely used in aerospace,shipbuilding,nuclear power and other industries.However,the major factors that restrict the development of superalloys are the large cutting force,the serious tool wear and the high cutting temperature.With the development of science and technology,the emergence of various kinds of new tool materials has effectively improved the processing efficiency of superalloy,such as PCBN tools,etc.,which has shown excellent performance in cutting of superalloys.The unconventional machining methods,such as high pressure cooling,can also achieve good processing effect in the use of new tools.These processing to solve the problem of high temperature alloy,cutting test in high pressure cooling of nickel based superalloy GH4169 by using PCBN tool,cutter,in different chamfer angle and width of edge cooling pressure and cutting conditions on the cutting force,tool wear form,tool wear mechanism and tool life in-depth study.First of all,the experimental study on the cutting force of nickel-base superalloy under high pressure cooling was carried out.The main design of the orthogonal test of PCBN cutting nickel-base superalloy GH4169 and single factor under high pressure cooling,using the mathematical theory of influence of different factors on the influence of the cutting force,cutting force is also studied under different geometric parameters of cutting tool,cooling pressure and cutting conditions.Secondly,the wear mechanism of PCBN tool is analyzed under high pressure cooling.According to the test results and the related theory of tool wear,in-depth analysis of the key parts of the main abrasion wear of PCBN tool,and PCBN tool in machining of nickel-base superalloy GH4169 under the condition of different wear mechanism;at the same time in the same cutting conditions by the scanning electron microscopy and energy spectrum analysis of different cutting speed PCBN cutting tool wear morphology are studied deeply.Thirdly,the durability test of PCBN tool under high pressure cooling is carried out.The influence rule of PCBN tool on cutting tool life of nickel-base superalloy GH4169 under different cutting conditions was discussed,and multiple linear regression method was used to establish PCBN tool life prediction model under high pressure cooling.Finally,the tool wear prediction model and morphology analysis of PCBN are established.With Archard adhesive wear the traditional model,and through experiment,mathematical analysis and related theory to establish the prediction model of metal cutting tool wear PCBN under high pressure cooling.
