This research took the Huaibei mining area as the research area,collected solid wastes such as coal gangue,coal slime,fly ash and other surrounding soil samples in the Huaibei mining area,and systematically studied different types of solid waste in the Huaibei mining area based on high-precision analysis and testing techniques.Mineral composition,chemical composition and trace element characteristics;reveals the distribution of trace elements in the soil around the solid waste accumulation area;discusses the influence of solid waste type and accumulation time on the distribution of trace elements in the soil;and uses the geoaccumulation index method,internal The Meilu comprehensive index method and the potential ecological risk assessment method were used to evaluate the eco-environmental quality of the soil in the Huaibei mining area,and the following results were obtained:The results of this study showed that,(1)Based on XRD,XRF,ICP-AES and other high-precision analytical testing techniques,the differences in mineral composition,chemical composition and trace element content of different types of solid waste in the Huaibei mining area were studied.(2)Based on the study of the temporal and spatial distribution of trace elements in Huaibei mining area,it was found that the spatial distribution characteristics of Zn,Cu and Pb in the soil of Huaibei mining area are similar,and the concentration of industrial and mining enterprises is high,which is inferred to be affected by coal mining,utilization and accumulation.The spatial distribution of Cr,As,and Ni is mainly related to the geological background.(3)By studying the content of trace elements in the soil around the different types of solid waste accumulation areas,it was found that the content of Pb and As in the surrounding soil of the vermiculite accumulation area is relatively high,while the surrounding areas of the coal sludge accumulation area are high in Ni,Cu and Zn;Study on the content of trace elements in the soil around the vermiculite heap during the mining period.It was found that the migration of trace elements was affected by many factors.The content of different trace elements in the soil around the vermiculite accumulation area had different rules with time,and the horizontal distribution characteristics were also different.(4)The soil in the Huaibei mining area contained Cu and Zn,where their average levels of Cu and Zn in the soil were higher than those in the soil in Huaibei City.Therefore,there might exist a certain degree of enrichment.But the levels of the six trace elements did not exceed quality standard limit of the national secondary soil environment.Evaluations have been made according to the single factor index method,the geo-accumulation index method,the Nemerow pollution index method and the potential ecological risk index method,the results of which show that on the whole the six trace elements "Cr,Ni,Cu,Zn,Pb and As" in the soil of the Huaibei mining area are at uncontaminated level,environmental quality is good,and there exists only slight pollution in some areas.
