Research And Practice On Handicraft Cross-media Design Of "New Channel·Music Workshop"

Traditional handicraft is an important part of the intangible cultural heritage,which is the carrier of the material life and spiritual life in the vast rural areas of China.It can also display the unique life aesthetics and traditional culture of the countryside.At the same time,the uniqueness,sustainability and culture of handicraft products can make up for the disadvantages of large industrial production.However the design and innovation status of handicraft products is not optimistic.On the one hand,most handicraft products are only blindly borrowed from traditional shapes,colors and patterns when they are designed,which have low correlation with the cultural characteristics and spiritual life of traditional handicraft,especially craftsmen.On the other hand the low technical nature and low breakthrough innovation of handicraft products make it difficult to meet the functional requirements of modern consumers.In that case,consumers can only accept the output of culture unilaterally and passively,and it is difficult to establish a comprehensive cultural connection.Firstly,this paper analyzes the definition,characteristics,design elements and existing design methods of handicraft products,as well as related concepts of intelligent hardware.Then the paper puts forward the basis of the application of intelligent hardware in handicraft innovation,the attribute of the combination of material function and immaterial culture,and the design guidance of intelligent hardware in handicraft products.Secondly,by analyzing the existing cases of combining handicraft with intelligent hardware,the corresponding design methods,design principles and design processes are proposed for the design innovation of cross-media handicraft products.Next,the function and interactive experience of handicraft products can be improved by means of technical support after analyzing the differences and feasibility between different intelligent hardware.Finally,handicrafts are used as a new cultural carrier to connect products and network cultural platforms.At the end of this paper,"New Channel · Music Workshop" is used as an example,The typical traditional culture and handicraft of dong nationality are collected and the typical handicraft knowledge system is summarized by means of literature research,observation and interview.At the same time,open source hardware,3D printing technology and low power bluetooth are used to design and evaluate handicraft products.According to WeChat platform,the product can be connected to the network,and the online and offline activities are dedicated to the cross-media communication of handicraft culture.The innovation of this paper is introducing intelligent hardware technology to bring breakthrough innovation to handicraft product design.And the design of handicraft products is divided into material modeling,color and functional appeal,as well as non-material cultural activities and sustainable output of spiritual life.By means of technical support,handicrafts can become a new cultural carrier while providing consumers with more functions in line with their needs and more novel human-computer interaction experience,which can establish the connection between craftsmen,designers,different consumers and cultural communication platforms,form a relatively stable cultural communication circle,and achieve sustainable cross-media cultural export.
