High speed cutting technology is the developing direction of machining,but when cutting speed accelerating,adiabatic shearing phenomena will appear to produce serrated chip in the process of high speed cutting.Serrated chip will affect the surface quality and tool wear.At present,there is no uniform conclusion on the dynamic failure characteristics of sawtooth chip.For the study of dynamic damage characteristics of serrated chip,this paper combine experimental research and theoretical analysis to discuss high speed cutting parameters and chip morphology of inner link,and clear the shape variation of cutting parameters change chip sample,then according to the microscopic analysis of chip analysis the dynamic damage process;Hopkinson pressure bar test is used to determine the TA2,TC4 dynamic mechanics parameters,fitting constitutive relation,at the same time,combining with the characteristics when the high speed cutting chip breaking,explore the stress,strain,strain rate,temperature is high,the workpiece materials development trend of dynamic behavior;Simulate high speed cutting process by using ABAQUS finite element software,and clear all kinds of cutting case chip saw performance,stress,strain,and the adiabatic shear zone in economy development trend of cutting tool temperature,finally make a comprehensive comparative study and test data,draw valid conclusions.
