With the development of science and technology, organosilicon compound has been widely applied in industry and received increasing attention in recent years. In the modern synthetic methodology of organosilicon compounds, macromolecular organosilicon compounds can be synthesized by Si-H activation of hydrosilane with transition metal complexes as catalysts. Therefore, realization of Si-H activation and functionalization has always been an important subject.Hydrido transition metal compounds can be synthesized by the reaction of hydrosilane with transition metal complexes and display excellent performance in catalytic reactions.Hence,it is of great significance in exploring the catalytic performance of hydrido transition metal compounds generated by Si-H activation. The main contents of this paper are the synthesis of[PSiP]pincer cobalt, iron and nickel complexes and their applications in catalytic reactions:1.Si-H activation in pincer ligand I was realized by the reaction of I with Fe(PMe3)4,CoCI(PMe3)3 and Ni(PMe3)4.And the iron hydride 1,chloro cobalt hydride 3 and ?2-nickel hydride 4 were synthesized and characterized.2.We have explored the catalytic performance of complex 1 and complex 3.The catalytic activity of complex 1 for the reduction of aldehydes/ketones and the dehydration of primary amides was evaluated. To our delight, good yields were realized for the dehydration of primary amides to nitriles using complex 1 as catalyst. With complex 3 as catalyst, its catalytic activity for the reduction of aldehydes/ketones and the dehydration of primary amides as well as the Sonogashira cross-coupling was evaluated. And good catalytic activity of complex 3 was observed for the Sonogashira cross-coupling.3.We have investigated the catalytic activity of complex 7 for the Sonogashira cross-coupling and dehydration of primary amides. It was demonstrated that complex 7 performed good catalytic activity for the dehydration of primary amides. The catalytic activity of complex 7 for the hydrogenation of nitriles was also explored.
