Sample preparation is a crucial step in analysis of complex biological samples. And the sensitivity and accuracy of analytical methods depend on the selectivity of adsorbents. In this text, two kinds of magnetic hybrid adsorbents with selectivity were synthesized and employed to the selective separation and enrichment of analytes in complex biological samples. The main contents are listed in following:1.Cu-doped magnetic adsorbent(Cu-Fe3O4)was synthesized via a one-step solvothermal method.Cu-Fe3O4 exhibited specific adsorption towards the compounds containing an imidazole moiety(with N-H)as tested by eighteen structurally related compounds.Under the optimized conditions, the adsorbent was applied to the extraction of theophyline in plasma.A linear response was found for the 0.02-20 ?g/m L and low LOD(3 ng/m L)was obtained. The recoveries from spiked rabbit plasma samples were between 91.2% and 100.4%,and the repeatabilities ranged from 2.9% to 12%.Finally,the Cu-Fe3O4 was employed to extract theophylline from the administrated rat plasma samples, the concentration of theophylline was 7.76±1.13 ?g/m L.The determined value matched well with the published results. Therefore, the Cu-Fe3O4 can be used in the analysis of theophylline in complex biological samples.2.POSS-8NH2 was grafted onto magnetic graphene oxide to obtain a boronate affinity adsorbent with high-density boronic acid group(mag GO@p-FPBA).Because of grafting POSS-8NH2,the mag GO@p-FPBA exhibited better adsorption performance compared with mag GO@APBA.And the mag GO@p-FPBA showed good selectivity and high adsorption capacity in extraction of small molecules and macromolecules containing cis-diol.The adsorption capacity for isoprenaline and ovalbumin were 514.0 ?mol/g and 333.5 mg/g,respectively.Under the optimized experimental conditions, the mag GO@p-FPBA was successfully employed to the determination of catechoamines in human urine samples.
