The swirl atomization trays studied in this paper are improved on the traditional vertical sieve trays by adding cyclones at the bottom,not only inheriting the advantages of traditional jet trays,but also improving the mass transfer efficiency on the basis of them.The mass transfer performance of the swirling atomization trays was studied in a skid-mounted multi-functional tower experimental device,aiming to provide reliable data for the industrial application of spiral-flow atomization trays and further scientific research.A 23-% ethanol-water medium was used for the hot die test in a skid-mounted multi-function tower.The effects of the tower heating power,the number of swirler vanes,and downcomer size on the mass transfer performance were investigated.And use PRO2 simulation software to simulate the experimental process to guide the setting of the parameters during the test,and compared with the efficiency of the experimental results.The results show that the experimental process requires a stabilization time of 75 min;the concentration of the top product and the kinetic energy of the pores are positively correlated;the efficiency of the tray reaches the highest when the number of blades is 3;the operating elasticity of the tray is1.8-4.3;and the vertical sieve plate In contrast,the swirling atomization tray has a total efficiency of 14.7% higher than that of a vertical sieve plate with a diameter of 150 mm,which is 31.2% higher than that of a vertical sieve plate with a diameter of 98 mm.The experimental results are in good agreement with the simulation results.The rationality of the tray design.In the skid-mounted multi-function tower,the SO2 absorption analysis experiment was conducted and the following conclusions were drawn: The total slab pressure drop and the dry slab pressure drop of the swirl atomization tray increase with the increase of the pore kinetic energy factor.The data fitting of the relation between the pressure drop of the dry plate and the kinetic energy factor of the hole is obtained by the following formula: Δp=9.894F1.858,in which the fitting coefficient R2=0.99279;the absorption of SO2 is positively correlated with the initial p H of the absorbing solution.After the initial p H of the absorbing liquid is greater than 4.5,the SO2 absorption increases significantly;the p H of the solution decreases with the increase of the volume ratio of SO2 and water;the p H of the absorbing liquid gradually decreases with the increase of the absorption time;SO2 is resolved The amount increases with the decrease of the initial p H of the rich liquid;the SO2 resolution is positively correlated with the analytical temperature and the resolution time;compared with the vertical sieve plate,the swirling atomizing tray is used as the absorption and analysis equipment for SO2,which absorbs it.The rate is lower than that of the vertical sieve plate,but its resolution is higher than that of the vertical sieve plate,so the swirl atomizing plate is suitable as an analytical plate.
