Precision and ultra-precision machining technologies has become an important component and development direction in the modem machining industry.With the rapid development of CNC machine tool technology,moderm machining industry has increasingly improved the accuracy standards for CNC machine tools.The machining errors generated by CNC machine tools seriously affect the precision and quality of the machined workpieces.In many sources of machining error,geometric and thermal errors account for the vast majority,especially thermal errors.Therefore,the correct processing accuracy is compensated by the thermal error compensation technology,which has an important significance in industrial manufacturing and processing.Based on the theory of thermal error compensation work experience and compensation technology for CNC machine tools,this paper takes the Taikan T-500 vertical machining center as its research object,and proposes an application solution which is based on time series algorithm for thermal error modeling and real-time compensation of CNC machine tools.In actual processing,the CNC machine tool solves about 80%of the thermal error through the thermal error compensation technology,making the original machine tool for rough machining to be converted to fine machining.This article is oriented to solve the actual processing error problem.During this process,the following research work has been done:(1)In the process of data collection,the temperature measuring point arrangement and optimization strategy are studied to determine the number of the temperature sensors arranged on the machine tool and the placement position;(2)Researching on Basic Theory and Modeling Method of Time Series;(3)The real-time compensation system for thermal errors of CNC machine tools was implemented on the LabVIEW development platform.Analyze and design the overall structure of the hardware platform composition and soft,Aware system;(4)Aiming at the thermal error of CNC machine tools in actual industrial processing,the solution of thermal error compensation for CNC machine tools is proposed.Based on the theory and experimental research of the basic time series algorithm,the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed temperature measurement point layout scheme,the thermal error model based on time series algorithm,and research on hardware and softrware of thermal error real-time compensation system for CNC machine tools.
