Pressure Control Of Dual Gradient Drilling In Deep Water

The strategic objective of China's offshore oil and gas exploration and development in the future is based on the offshore continental shelf and actively expand the Deep-water field.To this end,we must improve the R & D capability of core technology,speed up technological innovation,and narrow the technological gap with developed countries.Dual gradient drilling is a kind of control pressure drilling technology,pressure control is a key problem in deep-water dual gradient drilling,master pressure control,can effectively control the borehole pressure and pressure control loop,overcome many problems encountered in deep-water drilling in deep-water drilling,to ensure the security of the economic nature of deep-water drilling.This paper studies the basic theory of the dual gradient drilling technology,the industry analysis principle of various control pressure drilling system and dual gradient drilling system,based on the study of the dual gradient drilling pressure control method,analyzes the produce mechanism and effect of U type tube,U tube effect to build the mathematic model to calculate,so as to find out the relationship between the influence factors of the U type tube effect,study well and monitoring well control method.Based on this,the deep sea shallow drilling challenges,technology innovation and improve,put forward a new dual gradient drilling system,the system includes three parts,namely the upper hole drilling platform scheme and the technical scheme and the lower part of the upper hole drilling hole drilling system,and the advantages and limitations the double gradient upper hole drilling made full analysis.These researches will provide reference for the application of deep-water dual gradient drilling technology in china.
