Nowadays the competition in the engineering machinery industry is getting more intense and the profit margins of manufacturers producing corresponding mechanical accessories have been greatly compressed.As a consequence,the increase in labor productivity and the reduced cost of production must be considered into the business requirements.The mechanical engineering accessory of the brakes named Clamp C1ANP11A1094[annual production now at over 200,000 units]which is manufactured by Liuzhou Xingxin Machinery Manufacturing Co.Ltd.Since the ordinary manual twist drills are used in processing the 2-?6,160mm depth oil holes of the clamp the result is a low efficiency of the process.It is urgent to research and develop specialized equipment for automatic double oil hole drilling for the low-cost automatic biaxial deep-hole drilling machine.By analyzing the latest research of the deep-hole drilling technology at home and abroad,combined with the requirements of the actual process of the integral design of the biaxial deep-hole drilling machine.First,the main drive system and the feeding system are scheduled and designed.This includes the cutting force of the principal axis and the cutting parameter.This requires an analyzed theory involving the service life span of the bearings in the principal axis and feeding system is calculated and checked.Second,a series of parameters related to the scheme is chosen and completed.This includes but is not limited to the selection of the related automatic-feeding servo electric motor and the design of its corresponding software and hardware.Other factors include the determination of power and type of the main drilling electric motor and the variable-frequency control of rotation speed.Finally,by establishing the drilling model through the finite element analyzing software named DEFORM-3D,an analysis of the simulation result can be made.Basic requirements of the mechanics involved are 1.the optimal feeding speed,2.the optimal drilling speed ascertained as 0.1mm/r&800r/min respectively,3.and finally the entire drilling procedure divided into 10-levels automatic cycling feeding process in the presence of the practical drilling test.It has been proved in practice that the developed specialized automatic biaxial deep-hole drilling machine for the double-oil-hole clamp possesses the simplest construction and lowest cost.This design is also inclined to achieve the automatic control function and easy&convenient operation.With the application of the dedicated equipment the production efficiency of the associated process can be boosted over 10 times greater than the previous application.The production cost can be reduced by up to 20%of the original expense due to the significant reduction in labor costs.
