Slender shaft parts are widely used in industry,agriculture,transportation,manufacturing and defense,but in turning a slender shaft,the length diameter ratio,the workpiece will produce vibration and bending deformation.The cutting vibration is relatively common in metal cutting process is a destabilizing factor,the cutting force is an important physical quantity in turning process,the vibration and cutting force selection will not only affect the service life of the cutter,the equipment power consumption,will also affect the workpiece surface quality and dimensional accuracy.Therefore,the study of the vibration factor and cutting force in the cutting process of slender shaft has important theoretical significance and application value for the slender shaft turning.In this paper,the vibration characteristics of the slender shaft are studied by using the method of back and forth,and the cutting force is calculated based on the BP neural network.First introduces the common type of vibration in machining systems and their vibration characteristics,the general turning of slender shafts and clip reverse turning slender shaft structure and radial bending vibration model,calculate the first three order natural frequency and vibration mode function,and prove the orthogonality of vibration mode function,bending curve slender shaft with three modes of function with Matlab software to solve.Secondly,using Deform simulation software and orthogonal test to select propercutting parameters obtained by clip cutting force of reverse turning of Slender Shafts Based on the size,and the cutting force and the experience formula were compared to verify the correctness of the simulation results,the data analysis also provides the cutting force for ANSYS.Then the ANSYS Workbench software based on the static simulation model of clip reverse turning of slender shafts were established,and static analysis,modal analysis and harmonic response analysis of slender shaft deformation,the clip reverse turning of slender shafts turning than ordinary small deformation,vibration frequency has been greatly improved,about two times that of ordinary lathe,harmonic response value is about half of the ordinary lathe,in order to verify the correctness of thetheoretical analysis results.Finally,the application of BP neural network prediction model of neural network training pull clamp reverse turning a slender shaft turning force,and the experiments are carried out by training the network model and forecasting network model are very close to the values and simulation values,therefore,the neural network model can accurately predict the turning force,to reasonably determine the amount of cutting improve and provides important reference for the workpiece surface quality and improve production efficiency.
