As an energy source,coal has occupied an extremely important position in China.Gas as an inevitable product in the process of coal mining,coal mine accidents caused by gas is extremely frequent,which not only brings great threats to the life safety of mine workers,but also continuously limits the scale of coal mine production and the production efficiency and economic benefits.To change this situation and solve the problems,coal mine engineers and managers have conducted long-term and painstaking research and exploration,and finally got greatly technological breakthroughs.Among these breakthroughs,gas drainage method is widely adopted in mines because it’s an efficient method to solve gas problems.The geological conditions of coal mines in China are complex.Most of the coal seams in the mines belong to a single low-permeability coal seam with difficulty in gas drainage.The pumping rate is low.In view of this situation,based on a large number of domestic and foreign relevant literature and relevant regulations and norms of our country,drawing on and summarizing the predecessors’ research on mine gas drainage technology,this thesis takes BanJiu Coal Mine in Ya’an as research object,by using literature research method,data collection,on-site gas sampling and data analysis and other methods,etc.to carry out a systematic gas drainage technology experiment in BanJiu Coal Mine in Ya’an.At the beginning of this thesis,it introduces the general situation and gas base parameters of coal mine in BanJiu Coal Mine in Ya’an,according to the collected data,the characteristics and gas distribution of BanJiu Mine,several gas drainage methods for BanJiu mine were identified,meanwhile the gas drainage parameters were designed.In the following parts of this thesis,bases on the former gas drainage methods,a comparative test of gas drainage methods was carried out on a coal mining face of the BanJiu mine and the drainage result was analyzed based on the data collected from the experiment.It was concluded that to achieve the goal eventually,the BanJiu mine should combine a variety of drainage methods together rather than use single gas drainage method to extract.At the end of this paper,we can get the conclusion from qualitative and quantitative comparison through mathematical operation shows that the method of pressure relief gas drainage in the gob area is the best way among three drainage methods in experiment;the mine only adopt the comprehensive gas drainage method can reach to coal mine relevant standards.
