The upgrading of national consumption structure and the awaking of sports consciousness,which make consumers are not confined to the basic functional requirements of fitness equipment.It has become the focus of consumers' attention to meet the higher pursuit of fitness equipment through the satisfaction of emotional needs.However,due to the lagging behind in the updating of the design methods,the research and development of fitness equipment is still mainly focuses on the functional implementation and structural design,ignoring the user's emotional needs.The traditional advantages of enterprises in convenient management and low-cost production have been weakened gradually,which seriously hinders to the development of fitness equipment to the emotional and individualization transition.To adapt to the fierce development of fitness equipment and related industries,and to further enhance the quality of people's lives,the paper contributes a research of fitness equipment design platform based on Kansei Engineering(KE).First of all,after the demand analysis of fitness equipment design platform is carried out,the functional modules are divided,and the architecture is determined.Then the planning of design platform has been completed and Kansei image of users is obtained by using the sematic difference method.The representative pairwise Kansei image words and key design variables are discerned by the Factor Analysis and orthogonal test.With the Quantification Theory Type ?,the KE models are established between the key design variables of fitness equipment and user's Kansei images,and the personalized variables of it are identified.The configuration rules are established by the KE-based investigation data.Aiming at the fuzzification of Kansei design,the KE inference model of fuzzy logic is established by the fuzzy logic inference theory.Meanwhile,the MATLAB fuzzy logic tool is integrated to solve the inference model.The Kansei image of the fitness equipment is predicted by the different design variables,so as to realize the optimal configuration of the fitness equipment.Subsequently,the Visual Basic is used for the secondary development.According to the design scheme,the parametric design of fitness equipment is completed,and the fitness equipment will be stored in the model library of the Kansei design platform in the form of three-dimensional model.Finally,the prototype system of fitness equipment design platform is established,and the running interface of prototype system is introduced,which verifies the feasibility of the KE-based design platform.In this paper,Kansei Engineering technology is introduced into the design platform of fitness equipment to meet the emotional needs of consumers.The creation method and workflow of the Kansei design platform are further studied.The Kansei design platform can provide guidance for designers,improve the overall competitiveness of the fitness equipment industry,and also have significance for the development of related industries.
