With the rapid development of our economy,it is extremely urgent to product clean fuel due to the lack of oil resource.Supported noble-metal catalysts are industrial applied for hydrogenation of oil to reduce aromatics.The carbon supported noble metal catalyst could show better hydrogenation activity so that it is widely used in hydrogenation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.In this study,AC and RGO were introduced as support,Pd/RGO,Pd/AC and Pt-Pd/AC were prepared and characterized by XRD,BET,TEM and SEM-EDX.The hydrogenation reaction of anthracene was conducted using a stainless-steel,mechanical stirred autoclave.The products were identified using GC/MS.It is found that the products included 9,10-dihydroanthracene(DHA),tetrahydroanthracene(THA),three octahydroanthracene: sym-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydroanthracene(sym-OHA)cis-,trans-1,2,3,4,4a,9,9a,10-octahydroanthracenes(cis-OHA,trans-OHA)and perhnydroanthracene(PHA),without cracking products.(1)RGO supported Pd catalysts(Pd/ RGO)were prepared and have been investigated in the selective hydrogenation of anthracene with effects of the reduction temperature,palladium precursor,Pd loading,protective agent,impregnation liquid,and the trend of experimental result was analyzed.It showed that the increasing pH of the impregnation liquid improves the dispersion of Pd on the surface of the support.Therefore,It is showed excellent performance with urea that 97.49% conversion of anthracene and the selectivity of sym-OHA is 60.93 %.(2)AC supported Pd catalysts(Pd/ AC)were prepared and have been investigated in the selective hydrogenation of anthracene with effects of the pretreatment on the physicochemical properties of the activated carbon.The results showed that Pd/ AC catalyst exhibited excellent performance by acid pretreatment,due to more defect on the surface of activated carbon improves the anchoring of the metal in the active position.It is showed that 100 % conversion of anthracene and the selectivity of ym-OHA is 48.17%.(3)Activated carbon supported Pd and/or Pt catalysts(Pt /AC,Pt-Pd/AC,Pd/AC)were prepared and have been investigated in the selective hydrogenation of anthracene with effects of reaction time,reaction temperature,reaction pressure,strring rate and solvent,calcination temperature,and the trend of experimental result was analyzed.It was found that the bimetallic Pt–Pd catalysts are very active with respect to the monometallic Pt or Pd counterparts due to the interaction between the Pt-Pd catalysts.Under the condition(200 ?,1 MPa),Pt-Pd/AC catalydt exhibited excellent performation that 100 % conversion of anthracene and the selectivity of sym-OHA is 68.33 %.
